WORMFOOD is a Progressive Metal act from Rouen, France. The band formed in 2001 and plays a dark and gritty style of Progressive Metal, sung in French, and with influences from Doom, Gothic and Black Metal. On the recent albums, the Progressive Metal traits prevail, with epic songwriting and a theatricality in vocal delivery that recalls ANGE. The bands latest album Posthume could in fact be described as a mix of ANGE, FAITH NO MORE and early EVERGREY slowed down to a crunchy Doom pace.
