Zombie Frogs an instrumental Progressive Metal band formed in the Fall of 2012 by Guitarist Sam Reti.With the addition of Erik Huang on drums and Austin Bolden on bass, the trio started working on some tracks that Sam brought in, and quickly began writing brand new material together as well. Realizing the need for a keyboardist, Erik discovered Joey Izzo through a mutual friend at Berklee and asked if he would be interested in joining Zombie Frogs. Thus completing the line-up for about a year, the 4-piece instrumental group began performing around the local music scene to widespread acclaim.A year later, the recording process for the band's first full-length album titled "Awaken" started in full force. While they continued to perform in Boston and write new material, the first 8 original songs that these four musicians wrote together began to take physical form under the recording and engineering brilliance of Joey Izzo himself. A melting pot of progressive rock, metal, and djent influences constructed the groundbreaking new album right in front of their eyes.In December 2013, with the new record well in the works, Zombie Frogs enlisted Guitarist Lucky Cerruti to join the group on lead guitar as a permanent fifth member, finally cementing the band's current line-up. With the completion of their debut album and a wealth of performance opportunities presenting themselves, Zombie Frogs is ready to take the East Coast music scene by storm!
