Fascinating nine piece horn rock band formed by (then) active members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Unrated Jazz rock group, released 2 lp the first one under the name SYMPHONIC METAMORPHOSIS and with the same line up this one "Dynamic Arena" . The line up: Robert Pangborn,Thomas Bacon,Sam Tundo, Donald Haas,Dennis Smith,Ervin Monroe,Arthur David Krehbiel,Robert Cowart. The horns are exquisitely performed, though the rock sections are a tad more restrained and pedestrian for a band with these kind of quals. Still, the guitar and organ work is efficient.
